## How pricing works

Every engagement starts with a conversation to agree on the problem and the scope. Then comes a written plan and price. Most projects are a fixed fee. Fractional Technology Leadership is a monthly retainer, which costs less than buying the same work one project at a time. Travel outside Northwest Arkansas is billed at cost. Rates are not published.
